summer steelhead limits

Another great day fishing on a beautiful op river. The river level was low and clear but that's not stopping these hard fighting steelhead from coming up the river. Its been so exciting site fishing many of these chrome fish in just a couple feet of water. Watching the fish follow your lure looking for a strike and waiting to feel the bite to set the hook is really suspenseful. set it to early and the spinner gets pulled out of their mouth. Jig and float with Coon shrimp has been our best producer of fish though. Twitching jigs has also gotten a few fish.
