With the close to 2'' of rain we received this week all the rivers in S.E. Wisconsin have raised and are now full of chinooks, cohos and brown trout. I was out yesterday 10-14 while grant park was still very high and dirty and ended up with one very nice coho while my uncle couldn't stick anything he hook (missed two). Today 10-15, I got a late start after work and ended up having a very large coho straighten my gamakatsu size 8 octopus hook. This one came out of a deeper hole on a spawn sac under a bobber. We then moved down river and I ended up with two chinooks and my uncle landed a very colorful male coho. This fishing is only going to get better as the fall proceeds.
