Cabin Fever and Navionics

Don't let Cabin Fever get the best of you. If the weather is keeping you off the lake, then visit your next destination through Navionics. Whether I have an upcoming tournament, or my thoughts drift toward my favorite local lake, I always have and use my Navionics smart phone app. For weeks and even months before my next tournament, I may pull up and study my next tournament lake with my smart phone app. You can never be too prepared for your next event. At lunch and after work, I may pull up different lakes and gain knowledge using this finger tip technology. I can't believe how many spots I've found on lakes I've fished hundreds of times with my Navionics app. If I have a tournament coming up and I've never been there, I will spend hours studying the lake. You can't wait till your boat hits the water to formulate a game plan for a tournament. You can familiarize yourself with potential boat ramps, the layout of the lake, creeks, docks, humps, points, and more. When you finally do launch on this unfamiliar lake it won't be a stranger to you. I always have a dozen spots I try out from research of the maps. If you're serious about tournament fishing it's a must have tool. So don't let the weather keep you off the lake, visit the lake through Navionics and you'll be a better Angler for it.
