2nd Annual Gogama Walleye Derby

For those of you, who are avid tournament anglers or just want to experience fishing a walleye tournament, then book your team and join us at the 2nd Annual Gogama Walleye Tournament. The catch and release event will be held the weekend of July 24th thru the 26th 2015. It is a trickle start based on when you register so the earlier the better. The walleye fishing is incredible. Last year Christine and I had great catches each day. Saturday we caught over 40 walleye and Sunday we had the day's biggest fish weighing just shy of 6 pounds. Last year's inaugural event saw 29 teams compete in one of the best run tournaments I have fished for a first time event. Friday night's rules meeting was catered with pasta bar dinner available for purchase, and a meal provided for all participants Saturday. So if you want to experience this young tournament, sign up now. Entry fee is $250 per 2 person team.
