Hello Everyone! Spring is finally almost here, and that means it is time to restock on tackle, such as crankbaits! While shopping for crankbaits, be sure to check out the Rapala DT (Dives-To) series. From running models ranging from max depths of 1ft, all the way to 20ft, there is a DT model that will fit any fishing situation! Three types of DT series are offered: the DT Flat series, Dt Fat series, and the Original DT series. The Flat series include baits that run from 3-9 feet and feature a tight-wobbling action, as well as a coffin-bill lip, perfect for deflecting off of structure! This series includes the many classic Rapala colors, such as Firetiger, Bluegill, and Dark Brown Crawdad. They also feature Ike's Custom Ink colors, which are a line of unique and effective colors designed by Michael Iaconelli. Along with the flat series of DT cranks, there are the Fat series of cranks. These baits are mainly designed to run shallow, with all models running from 1-3 feet. They are wide baits, and feature square bills for deflecting off of cover effectively. They also feature many of the same colors found on the flat series of baits, including the classic colors and custom ink. Last but not least, there are the Original DT series of baits, originally designed by David Fritts. These are designed to run from 4 feet, all the way down to 20 feet. These baits feature a round and wide bill to help it dive deeper quickly. Like the other DT series, similar colors are offered on the Original DT baits, from the classic Rapala colors to Ike's Custom Ink. So, If you are looking to re-load your crankbait arsenal this spring, check out the DT family of crankbaits at your local tackle store! As an added quality with a Rapala crankbaits, they are each tank tested and tuned, making them trouble-free and ready to fish right out of the package! Catch 'em this season! -Chris Calabro
