Temperature Rising

As previously stated, water levels are historically low and not rising anytime soon. Bite is really really really tough as air temps rise. Major gaps in between fish but when you get one it's usually a decent one. Things started off promising with a fish on my first cast of the day but I can't seem to get more than one fish in an area no matter how slowly and hard I work it. Caught my fish today on Alabama rig, Sqaurebill Crankbait and a bayou bug jig. My biggest of the day was a beauty caught in a little 5 foot ditch near a huge 2 ft flat on a crankbait. Back at it tomorrow. Also: Crappie bite. Hammered some monster crappie in open water while searching for largemouth. All on crankbait. One was a beast!
