would you leave your coffee cup on your moms lawn?

with the big rains comin the next few days I decided to just go for a walk on the river today. waters stupid low and clear so its a good time to see what the bottoms like in your fav runs. snags , structure , holes. so I gotta say I pretty disgusted at most . there maybe a 10% window that care and know what a garbage can is. this yr ive never seen the banks so littered in coffee cups . even where the cars park I see them just thrown out the doors on the ground. are ya really that much of a wimp?the cup weighs more full when ya walk in with it then it does empty in your pocket. and I find this especially happens from people that don't live in the area. had a guy today literally drop his cup on the path right infront a me. so I said" your not from around here are you" looks at me with this duh look and says" no why." I proceed to pick up his cup and say "this is why (and few r rated words lol) just kills me the ignorance and garbage goin on out there. gee I wonder how many coffee cups gil runs into out in bc. I bet very few. for those who know me they know I love to comment and even run my mouth at times. huge pet peeve of mine is just plain old stupidity. so I standing on a bridge checkin out a hole today. theres maybe 1 ft a water in this entire drift. so im watching this guy drift a fly with a bead above it. that's fine. part that ticked me off was the 5ft a line from the float to the fly. doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what this guys tryin to do. so I ripped into him abit and got the whole bank in a chuckle. I only know a few others that will say stuff when they see stuff. more people need to say things when they see stuff. I hate this time a yr cause its all the casual fisherman come out. ya don't see too many hardcore steelheaders doin this stuff. its just sad to see its getting worse and no one doin anything. so in the end fish right and take your garbage out with u. its mother natures lawn
