FINALLY! SOME STEELHEAD and new equipment

It feels so nice to nice to finally see the float going down the river. Some days have been great and some I've had to really work at it . This spring I have spent alot of time trying new egg cures and am surprised the changes in results of switching back and forth. With not alot of eggs and experiments in very small batches it is a pain when one really seems to work and then its all gone. I have made a much better effort to write on each bag on what I tried. Besides the loomis rod and such I must say that the newest and coolest addition to my equipment has been the addition of the EGO S2 slider net( extra long) .The older I get the more frog water I fish and find myself too far above the fish to beach and also the net shortens the fight time to be quicker releasing fish. The S2 slider net I got has a 48 inch handle that with the simple push of the button and effortless pull extends to 108 inches.
