Take your kids Fishing!
Take your kids fishing. Everyday doesn't have to be preparation for a tournament. My son told me, " thanks for bringing me fishing daddy, " the last time we went and it meant everything to me. If you build that bond with your child when they are young it will last a lifetime. Most importantly, make it fun. You might not even fish but they will associate fishing with fun. See you on the water!

One of the dads at our kids tournament told me he enjoyed it so much because they were "making memories by the minute". Kids are a ball to fish with.

Great point Andy. My Dad wasn't a fisherman by any means however his son loved to fish so he bought a boat and brought me fishing. Thanks Dad
