Beaverdam Open April 11th, 2015

I competed in an open team tournament on Saturday April 11th. We did well with a 3rd place finish on a good day of fishing for most people. The lake was very crowded; however, our first amd last spots paid off with 3 fish over 3lbs and one 5lber. Water temp was between 67 and 71. The fish were staged up shallow in 2-5ft and were mixed between all three stages of spawn. The Rapala Shadow Rap was bit fairly well along with weightless stick baits. I was able to coax one 3lb Spotted Bass to take a Zoom trick worm texas-rigged with a light 3/16 weight. Best of luck to all.
