If you're like me, you're always looking for something to help you be more successful on the water in all situations. When it comes to scent attractant on baits I like to apply when I am using soft plastics but rarely in the past have I used it on hard baits. To be honest it's always just been a waste of time. My main goal when using an attractant is to get the fish to hang onto that bait longer and/or commit to it a little more aggressively thus, increasing my chances of actually catching the fish. Over the years I have used all sorts of brands of attractants on my soft plastics. They have came in a variety of styles from liquid skirting devices, aerosol spray cans, and even oil based applications. If you want the scent consistently on your bait you have to constantly reapply every 2-3 casts after a long soak.
