Lake Champlain

Water temps are behind on Champlain compared to the last few years. Temps were still ranging from 52-57 degrees in most places. Fish were moving in but they were really finicky and seemed to just be cruising around. I had to throw everything but the kitchen sink at them as once you caught them on one thing they seemed to lose interest in that and I would have to give a different look. In the end I caught a few nice ones and had a decent day with minimal wind which is always nice on that lake. Caught fish on spinnerbaits, flukes, crankbaits, bayou bug jigs and jerkbait all slathered in Liquid Mayhem!
