GOOD LEARNING WEEKEND

we all get stuck in our ways especially the older we get. for me and bass its always been a spinnin setup and the senko. I have two bait cast rods and reels that are now 4yrs old with about 5mins fish time on them lol so the tri lakes are pretty new to me . so since I just bought a trailer there I thought I best head out and find some fishin spots. so I made it a point to head out searching and only use the bait caster. well I found some beauty grass and bulrushes in about 5 ft a water. and wasn't disappointed droppin the craw down in them. bite was very light. had to be patient cause fish weren't aggressive. for yrs people have been tellin me to use a bait caster and I just shake my head. I realize now there is a time and a place for a spinning setup but the hockey stick with a bait caster on it is the ticket. so in the end don't be stubborn like me and try different things ..it can really pay off
