We got out the other day to do a little perch fishing. With an emerald shiner shortage in southeast Michigan a few guys I know are worried they won't catch fish. We went out with fathead minnows and plastics from Jr's Jig Tails, and while it was a real light bite and we had to coax them up off bottom to get them to bite we were able to get a bunch of fish in the boat and enjoy a beautiful day out on the water.
