First Spring Smallies

Got out to the NY side of Lake Erie on the weekend with my pal Landon. Water temps were 42 rising to 46 degrees throughout the morning. Winds were about 5 mph SW but shifted to W and rose steadily throughout the day. We caught fish on jigging spoons and tubes but the majority of our bites came on swimbaits dragged on Tackle Junkie Jigs custom football heads.
