Took mom out on the lake today for some time on the water. First thing this morning I had to make some adjustments to the plan do to the wind out of the south. Took about 40 min before the first fish was in the boat so the adjustments were correct for the conditions. As the wind turned into Gail gusts had to change again . After a hour I went by I put another good one in the boat while battling the wind by this time the condition's are making it really tough for my guest to present the bait as needed so we make another change in search of some calmer water with no success. During this whole mom is very content just being out on the water seeing how her son puts a limit in the boat on an extremely weather battling day. As some more time goes by I have to call it , the 50 to 65mph gusts are making it impossible for both of us to connect with another fish and today is about time with mom not weigh in. We put the boat on the trailer an had some lunch had a great day.

Thank you Brad. We have to make the best out of every day. If it would have been a tournament I would have roughed it out till weigh in after all never give up.
