Tough October Day on Stoney
Finally got a day planned to get out with my good buddy Matt for a day on Clear/Stoney Lake. Fishing was tough as usual yesterday as we both couldn't get anything really over 2lbs. We caught a few fish each that were close but a ounce or few away. Most trips I'll come across a kicker 4lb+ smallie but not this time. I tried fishing some shallow to deeper weed patches with both The Perfect Mini Elite Jig and my PowerTeam Lures 3.5" TRJ with no success, all in all we had amazing weather and a fairly quite lake for most of the trip. All fish today for me were caught on the Vision 110+1, 10lb Fluorocarbon and the Shimano Poison Adrena 6'10Med Casting rod and a Aldebaran 50HG reel. Thanks again to Matt and our buddy Keith for the boat and day of bassin!
