Upper Chesapeake Bay Event #1

First tournament of the year in the books. We battled the stingy Upper Chesapeake in not so great conditions. Found one of those bay stud Largies. I knew after watching 115 boaters from the BFL the day before only have 6 anglers with limits that it was going to be a major grind with lots of zeros for people. We decided to grind it out all tournament day in the one small area we felt held fish...I say felt because we did not catch a single keeper size bass during practice. It wasn't a bad choice. We found a few decent ones during the day and lost a couple next to the boat but I really thought this was an event where we would experience our first skunk...but we managed to bring some fish the scales for some valuable points and learned some important things fishing tidal water for the first time ever.
