Deep sea speed trolling

We were able to hook up with some Guides out of Holguin, Cuba recently. We fished two 4 hour days and to say the least I was excited.... When I jumped on board with my own rod, tackle box, NPS sportfishing shirt, and ABU hat our guide Alex got excited! He told us he loved to fish with other fishermen. I could tell it was going to be a good day. Especially when I saw the gear he had. Four beautiful PENN International Deep sea reels. It was an incredible few days; some of the most exciting of my life. We caugth some beautiful Mahi Mahi which changed colour almost instantly after being taken from the water. I was also very partial to the Barracudas; being a big musky and pike guy, it was a life changing experience to witness a personal best barracuda at 25lbs. I also caught a smaller one on a surface bait after coming back to the docks. The PENN reels out there in the open water certainly did their jobs for the 8 hours I got to use them speed trolling.
