A few bow river bows

I was driving over the bow on Deerfoot trail and had to stop. It was already late in the day but as I drove over the calfrobe bridge south of the zoo I just had to stop for a few drifts. I threw my waders on but didn't use them much. I stood on a few rocks close to the calfrobe and drifted some small nymphs with some good results for a bunch of little guys. Even though they were small on average I had a blast using Juan worms and various nymphs not unlike the live insects scattered along the rocky banks this time of year. I'm really looking forward to wading a full day tomorrow and targeting some much larger fish on the fly. Hopefully I can get into some more browns and some much larger bow river rainbows as well. Either way I'm sure it will be a ton of fun. It always is with a variety of Fenwick rods, Berkley Vanish lines, and the ABU Garcia spinning gear ready to go in the back of the truck. The weather has been so nice lately too I'm lookin forward to taking off some layers and rocking some new NPS gear. I hope spring finds you as excited as I am. Good luck, good fishing! Be safe near high water and fast flows too especially in waders. Thanks for using the excellent products I also stand by and For keeping me so updated on NPS
