How it works is you set up the automatic fisherman unit and hang on the hook bobber to the line and pull out the desired amount of slack line. When the fish bites the bait and the rod set the hook the bobber falls off the line its that simple.the bobber is made out of light weight foam and is 1 3/4 long and 1 wide. It has a wire thru the bobber bent so it will hang on the line and fall off when the rod sets the hook. There perfect for crappies, perch, blue-gills, small trout and salmon.
