The Tenkara Fly Girls is an informal group that sprang up in Boulder, Colorado in 2013. You can read the story behind their first outing here.. They had been interested in taking up fly-fishing but all the unnecessary complexities didn't appeal to them. Suddenly they discovered tenkara and their lives changed; fly-fishing with tenkara became a part of their lives.
