Shimano Aerowave Surf Graphite Spinning Rod

Designed by Ian Miller and Shimano, the brief was to provide beach, rock, breakwall and pier anglers with the ultimate casting rod that was equally responsive with a bait or lure. The Aero Wave Graphite series is based on high modulus graphite blanks, with a unique 'CWB' counter-weight system that balances the rod once a reel is fitted. This contributes to a longer, smoother cast, and less fatigue for the user. There are five models across the range and all provide a measure of power not usually associated with such long rods. They have Sea Guide Zirconium guides and Sea Guide cushioned reel seats fashioned with split EVA grips that provide a comfortable hold, and a light and crisp action. The rods all come in three piece configuration to allow for easy storage and transport between fishing sessions.
