Switch-baiting isn't a technique restricted to big blue and black marlin; it also works equally well on striped marlin, smaller blacks and sailfish. With the east coast having just enjoyed an epic inshore black marlin season, Ian 'Barra' Miller has added to the Ocea Switch Bait series with 10-15 kilo spin and overhead switch bait rods, perfectly suited to these smaller fish. Like the heavier models, fittings are excellent; Fuji K series SiC guides, high-grade aluminium Alps reel seats with Delrin inserts, and custom EVA grips, all on a TCurve TC4 blank.
