Introducing The Python, our power steering unit – the quickest in the industry. Steer time is just under 2 seconds lock to lock. Ideal for bow fishing, trolling and hard-to-reach transom and outboard-bracket mounted kicker motors. We offer units that can be used with or without steering tubes. The Python Pow’r Steer is designed for cruising and trolling, and can be operated by hand or foot. An optional wireless remote control is also available and can be added at any time through the company store online or by phone. Used on outboard motors with or without a steering tube. Comes standard with one 2-button switch with 16ft of cable for steering. Longer cables or additional switches can be added for almost every application. The Python is ideal for awkward or hard-to-reach transom or bracket-mounted motors up to 25 HP and has a marine grade, submersible, high torque 12 volt motor that draws just 5 amps. The unit steers the motor faster side-to-side to adjust course in rough or fast-moving water. The drive unit and motor are separate from each other for fast and easy service or replacement.
