Go Finesse When the Bite Slows

I used a 3" finesse swimbait to keep the bite going when the feeding slowed. I used a Manley Fishing Black Ops spinning rod paired with a Cinnetic Small Tracker spinning reel with 8 lb. test Silver Thread fluorocarbon. It is a very simple and effective technique. Make a long cast into the area the bass are using. Count the bait down to the depth in the water column the bass are using based upon the returns you seen on your sonar. Slow roll it back to the boat. If you think that your bait is getting too high in the water column, simply let it fall back on a semi-slack line and resume reeling. Don't set the hook on a fish until it eats the bait. Keep reeling as you might feel multiple bites before one eats it.
