Jigging at peir
Here are some most productive jigs for chinooks and coho along the shoreline and pier. I have hooked and released a tyee and a 25lbs chinook this year with the green jig. The silver jig works at the brightest condition.
The trick to hook more fish on jig. Lift your rod tip up then follow and feel that jig is fluttering down. If you feel slack, the fish bite it and swimming with it upwards.
Catching a chinook on jig is fun cause it usually runs like crazy. Tight lines
