Amundson Day At The Office

The alarm was set for 4:30 but my body said it didn't want to get up. Finally, I was able to coax myself up, feed the dogs, place all the gear in the Jeep and I left the house at 5: 30. I wanted to get to the flow at daylight but was in the river by 7 am. One of the anglers was nearby so I ask how it was going and he said nothing yet. Well, I am glad I am late.... 10 minutes later the salmon were moving in. I had three landed and one lost. Great fights, drifting a Steelybeads set 2 inches above the hook. Kept one Spring and one coho for home.
