New Brunswick at its BEST
New Brunswick in my opinion has the BEST smallmouth fishing when the fall season comes rolling around! The Bronze Backs are schooled and feeding heavenly - it's a slug fest!
I fished the annual Pal Dow Bass Tournament with my good buddy Steve this past weekend. We tied for 3rd with 13.90 LBS and our big bass was 3.6 LBS. The fish were relating to gravel banks with current breaks in about 12-15 feet of water, they were smoking a Crankbait. Besides 1 bass I caught on a Tube and one fish Steve caught on a Wart Hawg- we pulled over 30 smallies each on a deep diving crank! So, I was "feeling Cranky" haha
I have enjoyed the past 3 weeks of bass fishing here, more than any other. Since it was the last tournament here for the season - I am headed south of the border next weekend! Fall smallmouth and largemouth here comes Cody!
