Stick Marsh

Took a trip into the Marsh yesterday to see if the Crappie were biting after the cold front went through this week. Score for the day was one Crappie, five Catfish , two Bass and a handful of Bluegills. The water temperatures had dropped to mid sixties and it was very windy. The good news is that, for the first time since the 2004 hurricanes went through, there is hydrilla. This can only be good for the Bass fishery down the road because it gives some extra cover to the fry. I was into Stick Marsh Bait and Tackle and they had a picture up of a 13lb Largemouth that was caught in November in the Marsh.
