accidental littering

This isn't really about fishing but it does affect our environment and I think a lot of people with good intentions are creating a huge mess they do not know they are making . I live in a small town in southern Ontario and my subdivision is next to farm land ,I have noticed a large amount of garbage in the fence lines and drainage ditches for our subdivision and I couldn't believe that my neighbors were doing this so I went for a walk and found most of the garbage was recyclable items which lead me to my conclusion that much of this garbage is just blowing away from recycling bins so I ask if you read this make sure you have a lid on your bins and that your clear bags of recycling doesn't blow away we don't need to contribute to littering accidentally

Hey Shawn. You got me stirred up with the article. It is a shame about the stuff you can find out there and its everywhere you look. The problem is alot of it is left by some of our fellow fisherman. This really bugs me.

Right on David!! IntThe north where I am it is just as bad if not worse. The highways here seem to be a dump for the truckers and travellers. Not to mention the bush roads. I have picked up alot of garbage at boat launches in remote areas as well. Don't even get me started on beer bottles. Ten cents a piece and I could probably by a dozen minnows every trip out with the empties.
