Looks like I am heading to Lake Champlain within the next two weeks with my Shimano Rep Stéphane Vézina. It will be my first time there and I don't know what to expect. My buddy Stef fish that Lake a few times arleady but I would like to get your input as to know how to approach that lake at this time of year. Thanks Stef

No problem, my pleasure. A lot of my buddies will be there within the next week. I would to but I am away for work in Washington DC. Great reaction baits have been Lucky Craft Skeet Reese 2.5 in a silent square bill. If water is murky go with chartreuse. Jigs, anything that contrasts against the murky water. Another rule of thumb with the dingy water is the bass will hold really close to cover whether rocks, wood even an odd branch. The water should be in the high forties, if you can find warmer and clear water you will hit paydirt. Say hi to Steph V. for me. Thanks.
