Reminiscing

As we inch closer to the end of another great year we start to think back on all the success we've had throughout the year and all of the big fish we've caught to go along with it. This spotted bass isn't the biggest fish I had caught this year by far, but it is one of my favorites due to the fact it is the biggest spotted bass I have caught in my fishing career weighing in at 3.85 pounds and only being a tenth of a pound shy of the lake record. This is pre spawn back in March on lake Ray Roberts and I caught it with some other big largemouths to take a first place finish in our club tournament that we had out there that weekend. The bait I used to catch all of the fish this day were jigs I made with gamakatsu 60 degree jig hooks.
