Grand Lake Day 2

Spent the morning in the rain flipping docks and lay-downs with a Booyah jig and Yum Baits Christie Craw trailer. Had boat issues that cut my day short. Cant tell you how important boat maintenance is. Alarm came on and I shut it down. The boat wouldn't start back up and I am hoping that it just overheated and all I need is a new water pump. Spent an hour using the trolling motor to get back to the dock fighting a 15 to 20 mph wind. Thank goodness for Motorguide and Interstate batteries. Otherwise I would have been a sitting duck. On a good note, my "Bait of the Year" is the Yum Baits Christie Critter. I cant tell you how many fish I caught on that bait this year. It has worked in every possible condition and won me multiple jackpot tournaments to land winning fish. Very proud of the year I have had using it.
