Power Plant Smashing

Here in TX the weather is getting cooler and we are lucky to have several power Plant lakes chalked full of bass! Went out to Lake Welsh last weekend, we just had our first freeze of the season and air temp was 36 degrees. Welsh only has 1 reactor running but the water temp was 77 degrees. This lake also has an 18inch min on all bass, which means if you catch a keeper it'll be a good one. Never been on this lake before and i started throwing a Lucky Craft Sammy, but no takers. Switched to my confident bait, a Keitech Swing Fat 4.8 swim bait. Started catching the mess out of these bass, they were choking it. Afternoon was slow but I flipped a green pumpkin senko tipped with JJ's magic was key. Went searching for bigger keepers so i tried the discharge area. My favorite crank bait is the Bandit series 200 in Casper, and i used Fish Allures tabs.Caught my biggest bass of the day a 5.56.That product is a game changer, if you wanna add something special to your crankbaits or any hard baits go get some Fish Allure tabs. Ended my day 5- 20.23 If you've never been on a lake before always throw your confidence baits, it turned out to be a great day. Happy Thanksgiving People!
