Lake Huron Smallies

I spent a few days fishing northern Michigan this past week. I got on Lake Huron for a couple days and found some really good fish. I started off in 24 FOW and was throwing a 1/4 and 3/8 Commando Tackle Co Aspirin head in a Commando Tube. I would cast my tube and let it sink to the bottom then I would drag and lift the tube off the bottom. Most of the bites came on the fall as the tube hit the bottom. After about 10 fish off the same piece of cover, they quit eating the tube. I saw schools of bait in the area so I switched to a fluke on a drop shot. This provided a few more fish in the four pound class. As the evening progressed into dusk, the fish were moving up in the water column. I ended up throwing the line threw fluke pictured above.
