Beach Journal October 31, 2017

This is one of those day that look very disapointing. We were going to go the the river for a little while as the tide was to low on a particular beach. The river was not producing much but we could have fun catching some chum salmon. As the morning progressed it was time to move to the last beach that my friends have been telling me about while I struggled to work as they fished. We arrived and pondered if this was our last day as we saw nothing or jumping. After 20 minutes we decided to call it a day. Both of my buddies were already near the truck when I saw in a distance a salmon that completely came out of the water. yelling what I saw the guys thought I was pulling their leg. Until they saw another jump. We broke the sound barrier running back to the truck getting the gear. It turn out to be very successfull day . The top lure again was the pink Olympic Squid spinner and the Lucky Strike Rainbow spoon. Lets hope they are there tomorrow.
