Installing Hatches
For the past few days I have been preparing to insert three Hatches into both the bow and stern of the boat. The bow hatch was made my measuring the outside of the hatch and translating it to the front bulkhead to be cut. I cut the hole out using a jigsaw and then I was able to snugly fit the hatch in. This hatch will house my anchor. The other Hatches in the stern of the boat were made in a similar fashion with both lids being cut and traced from my Hatches that I already had. Once they were cut out they were fiberglassed into the boat and will provide storage for tackle, safety equipment, and any other tools I may need.
