Grip tape you rods

Well for those of you that have been following my post. I had one while back on how to protect your new rods at affordable price. Using heat shrink tubing. It does work but some people want that soft feel. Well I’m here to tell you about my other secret. Been using this one well before golf tape came out for fishing rods (Winn). I have had great success on this. I mostly use this on my cast and crank rods. You can use it on any rod. To me the Winn grip tape is to thick and I lose touch with what is going on in the other end. But this stuff works great and is a fraction of the price and you can get just about any color out there. Soft to touch and durable. Thinner than Winn tape as well. Well here is my other secret weapon. Now Winn tape cost like $12.00 for one roll you can push two rods out of it. This cost $7.99 and I got seven rods out of one package. Sold in all sporting goods store. Tennis racket tape. Yes tennis racket tape.
