Update - what i've been doing

Hey Guys ..... Sorry I haven't been updating my profile .. but unfortunately work has taken over my spare time. And I have only been on the water a handful of times, so far, this year. I am hoping that this all changes over the next couple of months. My second fishing trip of the year, was in May, with a couple co-workers, we went fishing for walleye, near Cardinal, On. Even thou the, fishfinder marked fish all day, we only had a few hits. And, the only fish that were caught, were 2 Bass (not in season, so we had to throw them back). Regardless, it was a good day spent, with good people. The first tournament that I attended this year, was the Gananoque, BIG BASS CHALLENGE, hosted by Garry Fisher, on July 7, 2012. This was the first year for this event, and I have to say that Gary and his crew, did an amazing job. If anyone gets the chance, they should check it out, in 2013. The weather was a little wet, till about Noon Hour, then the sun came out. Unfortunately I never caught a fish, but i did see 5 Carp, and had 1 Bass, circle my boat about 3 times, before he swam away. But I did learn a valuable lesson, make sure you test your trolling motor batteries, mine coughed after about 3 hours of use, so i had to drift for fish, the rest of the day. (Lesson Learned) ... another lesson learned, is you definitely need to pre-fish before a tournament .. I blame my lack of fish on this, I have never fished that area before. Today, July 28th, 2012. Would have been my 2nd Tournament, the Renegade Bass Pro-Am Tournament ... in Carleton Place, on Mississippi Lake. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend it, because I pulled some muscles in my back on tuesday, and I have been hobbling around in a crouched position, ever since. But I will definitely be attending this event, in 2013 (good luck, to all of todays participants). Sooo .... thats about all I have for ya this time .. Unfortunately I still have no pics of me, with a monster fish, to brag about .. Oh Well ..... Next Time ... but as they say .. "A Bad Day Fishing .. Is Still Better Than, A Good Day At Work" (I must agree). Till next time ..... may you all have .. "Tight Lines". Carl (Off to buy some new batteries, for my trolling motor)

Thanks for the update Carl, remember to charge those new batteries when you get them home before using them. Also charge them right away when you get home after a day out. Don't let them sit not charged up.
