A swamp donkey!!! 9lbs

I had a buddy tournament on sat on wheeler lake in North Carolina. Started off the day on the right foot by catching a 4lb bass 1st thing in the am. From there it was a serious grind. We went a few hours without catching a fish until we got on a 50 yard stretch that picked up 3 more keepers. Nothing great but hey ill take them at that point. Made a final move on the hunt for the 5th fish. We were able to locate some beds even tho the water looked like nesquick. We quickly picked up our 5th fish but had a small limit. With the time running out I refused to give up and with 2 min left until we had to book it back to the ramp i hooked a giant! I battled with her for a minute and then got her in the boat. I then had a mike iaconelli moment and let out a scream that im sure they heard from across the lake. Ended up winning with 18.94lbs. Anchord by a 9lb beast! Cant beat a day like that when you truly have to grind and it all comes together at the end.
