Bass Opening Week 2018

Went away with some family for my annual Bass Opening Week vacation! To start off the trip fishing was tough in terms of anything 3lb+ Opening day I caught lots of fish, as the days went on I started finding incredible numbers shallow and slowly the big fish moved in. The Dog-X Speed Slide took big fish this trip with a 5-1/4lbr with a few higher 4lb class fish on the PowerTeam Lures 4.5" Bully Grass Devil. I matched that streamline punching bait with a 1oz Reins Tungsten Weight and a Gambler KO Punch Skirt, x2 Bobber Stops. The other bait that put many solid fish in the boat this week was my go-to 3.5" Texas Rig Jig. This bait I ran on 22lb Fluoro and a 1/2oz Reins Tungsten Weight. The frog and jerk bait played a small roll thru the trip also.
