Supersized Spring Smallies with Streamside

Early spring here in the north country of Algoma Region on a sunny day is like being invited to the prom by the hottest girl in school to bass junkies! This particular outing was no exception, and better than any prom date I've ever had (no offence ladies). Water temps in the high 40s sky rocketing into the low 50s in shallow back bays meant time to fill the void after the long winter season. Once we found the ideal location I grabbed for my 7' MH predator rigged with my favourite jerkbait and bombed a cast to the dance floor! After about 8 jerks and a couple pauses I had a vicious attack!!! As I swept the prom queen off her feet we engaged in a well choreographed dance routine that would leave the most seasoned of anglers in awe! Cast after cast, hook set after hook set, one thing stood true! Streamside Predator rods were king of the prom!
