Gulf Pelagics

Along with an unbelievable bottom fishery the waters here in the eastern Gulf get its share of colorful Pelagic species such as Cobia, Mahi, Tuna and Sailfish. We have been netting Pilchards in the morning before our trips and live chumming many of these critters to the boat throughout the day. If some of you haven't tried the Shimano Waxwing lures in the offshore waters of these species you are missing out. These lures are Tuna and Mahi favorites and I still have yet to pitch one to a fish and have it turn down my presentation.
