Lake Berryessa 3/15/19

Fished most of the day and was only able to boat 4 fish. Lake levels are nice and high and water clarity is 1-2’ best right now. Water temps started at 52 in the morning but with the sunny days surface temps ended in the mid 50’s. The big spot went 3.31 and was caught on the drop. The smallie went 2.25 on a jig. No luck with reaction baits. But I say in another week it will be on! Reports of some large ones being caught between 8-10lbs...just wish I knew where and how lol. Spawn should be taking place in the next couple weeks at this rate, just need the water to settle and.m clear out a bit.
