Double WHAAAT...!

July fishing at Taltson Bay Big Pike Lodge. This one day started off great! landed a ton of fish many in the mid range 34 inches to 38 inches then with a few getting close to that mark of 40” and 41” As the day progressed thats when we started hook setting into some dandy’s!! DOUBLE HEADER trophy takes the win for photo of the day. These two beauties made the mark at 44” and 42”. BUT that wasn’t just it Randy nailed A TANK of a fish that made 45” at around 25+ pounds can’t remember the exact weight but she was a pig!! Swipe right to check out that pike. WHAT A DAY? Note: can’t find a match for the baits they were blasting. The first baits used were bulldawgs made by Musky Innovations the second baits used was a large spinner bait called Pearson’s Grinders made by Dick Pearson.
