Fish lives matter

Caught my personal best walleye this year tonight. WHAT a fight in the current at the river mouth on a jerkbait. The pictures absolutely do not do this fish justice. It was a Tank. Especially because there was about 15 people fishing and watching at the river mouth; I was more than happy to let this fish go. It was an absolute Gem of a Walter and I’m happy it’s still swimming I’m sure it’s “race” is too.... we might have to social distance but that doesn’t mean we aren’t still all in this together ....... that fish could have easily been dinner so things could be worse..... It got to go home to its family tonight...... anyone who is blessed Enough to do the same tonight should hold em close .... not waste time yelling and being angry at the world..... it’s the only one we got !
