Giant Lakers of Great Slave Lake

Many years of waiting, dreaming, weather delays and planning for this trip to happen. Last years trip was cancelled due to bad weather and we had no choice but to wait until the following year. Fast forward 1 year, I once again teamed up with Yellowknife Sportfishing Adventures to venture out into the remote waters of #greatslavelake on the hunt for big #laketrout and #epic adventure. With the sudden turbid water conditions from all the high water, we decided to venture deep into the arm where the water was clear and neither of us had been before to put our skills and gear to the test. We were blessed with great weather, amazing food and a taste of the experience one can have when fishing with #yellowknifesportfishing that I look forward to sharing with you in the near future. Many friendships were made, stories were told and all 4 anglers managed to catch their personal best Lake Trout while @x1a.productions captured the epic experience on #camera for the Premier Double #episode of Season 2 of Fish’N The Arctic.
