4th of July Camping Trip

The family and I took a camping vacation for the five days surrounding the fourth up in Northern Wisconsin. Amazed that my Minnkota lasted the whole trip on one charge in the batteries, through several laps around the thirty acre lake over 5 days. Many lay downs around the edge of the lake providing great cover for the 20, 19, and two 18 inch largemouth that I was able to pull out with either my Team KVD or my No.8 BlackOut rods, both performed awesome on this lake with plastic worms and a jig with a craw trailer. The bluegill my son was able to pull out on his 6 inch lizard on a wide gap hook. That was interesting. Finished the weekend hauling the boat to a larger lake and caught a few more largemouth and smallmouth on a jerkbait tied to that BlackOut rod. Great fishing on an awesome camping trip !
