The Dog Days Topwater Bite

First trip out with a new buddy, Colten Nick, and we smashed them on Big Sam! Ended up with around 16-17 pounds, but lost 3 fish over 5 pounds (2 over 6). Spent the day fishing shallow for the most part, catching fish on frogs, the 6th Sense Dogma 115, and flipping bushes. Ended the day with 22 fish catches on video. Can't beat those Fitzgerald Rods and those STORMR Gloves! They set you up for great hookset and absolute control over the fish! I'm especially thankful for my fellow officers that sacrificed their lives in the line of duty these past couple of weeks in Baton Rouge and Dallas. Rest in Peace Brothers.
